GovChat founders Eldrid Jordaan, and Goitse Konopi today announce the launch of their new technology company Suppple Ltd. The name is derived from a synonym for resilience, and represents the creation of Social impact Using Public-Private-Partnerships. Suppple has been incorporated and registered in the United Kingdom. Suppple is an Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) API technology platform designed to assist governments of all sizes, across the globe to organise, digitise, and automate their functions rapidly. Over many years the founders discovered that there was a profound need for a technology integration, and orchestration layer to resolve inter-governmental system and data fragmentation challenges. Suppple’s suite of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) power governments digitisation, process-automation, data modelling and integrations at all levels (“SupppleAPIs”). The Company’s APIs enable digital functions for both governments and large institutions. The software that we build is the unseen, underlying infrastructure that supports public sector functions. SupppleAPI is an API platform that enables developers, governments and commercial clients to create features that link to their existing technology and data sources. The company’s application programming interfaces (APIs) cover Social Services APIs, Public & Private Healthcare APIs, Education APIs, ID Verification APIs, Credit Rating APIs, Location APIs, NPO Infrastructure APIs, Disaster Relief Payments APIs and Municipal Payments APIs.
The Company is focused on three mandates, namely: 1. Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) / software platform for governments (APIs & integrations). 2. Public Sector Data Bureau That brings together Public-Private data systems enabling verification, authentication, and fraud detection. 3. Connecting Start-ups to the public sector Suppple enables startups to connect with policy-makers, and private sector partners. We are also pleased to announce the names of Suppple’s International Board of Directors, which includes experts who have experience and a proven devotion to social impact and technology innovation. They will add an important perspective to the Company’s strategic direction.
